Add 1 tbsp of the melted butter &amp; the egg yolk then whisk.</span></li><li>Pour the wet ingredients into the flour &amp; fold together. Now stir in the reserved egg white &amp; blueberries. Don't whisk this as you will knock the fluffiness out of your pancakes!</li><li>Place a frying pan over a low/medium head &amp; melt a tbsp of butter. Then spoon the batter into the frying pan, making the pancakes as big or small as you want.</li><li>Cook for 2 minutes &amp; then turn and cook for 1 minute.</li></ol><p>Serve with lots of maple syrup and your choice of toppings.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div><span style="font-weight:bold;">Method:</span></div><div><ol><li><span style="color:inherit;">To make the pancake batter, put the flour, baking powder, salt &amp; cinnamon into a large mixing bowl. Measure the milk in a jug and add the eggs. Whisk lightly to combine, then add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix until blended and you have a thick batter. Set aside in the fridge.</span></li><li><span style="color:inherit;">For the bananas, put the 75 grams of butter and golden syrup into a small saucepan over a high heat and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and allow the mixture to simmer and bubble for about 3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove the pan from the heat.</span></li><li><span style="color:inherit;">Coat the bananas in the caster sugar and melt the knob of butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the banana slices and fry them on all sides until golden. Pour over the butter and golden syrup sauce and stir gently to combine. Set aside.</span></li><li><span style="color:inherit;">To cook the pancakes, brush a warm frying pan with a little of the melted butter and pour in a small ladleful of the batter. The pancakes should each be about 10cm wide.</span></li><li><span style="color:inherit;">Allow them to cook until little bubbles start to appear and the edges become a little dry, then turn over to cook for about a minute until golden brown.</span></li><li><span style="color:inherit;">Serve immediately on warmed plates with the caramelised bananas and sauce on top, sprinkled with the toasted hazelnut</span></li></ol><div><br></div>

<div><div style="color:inherit;"><ul><li>Pre-heat the oven to 200C (fan).</li><li>Cut the whole butternut squash in half &amp; place on a roasting tray. Drizzle with olive oil, thyme, &amp; sea salt. Roast in the pre-heated oven for 25 minutes.</li><li>Melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shallots &amp; garlic, cover &amp; sweat for 3 minutes. Remove the lid and stir in the rice and stir for 3-4 minutes.</li><li>Pour in the white wine, stir &amp; leave to simmer until all the wine is absorbed, add the hot stock, stirring every few minutes.</li><li>Remove butternut from the oven, and discard the seeds. Scoop the butternut squash into a bowl, add the mascarapone &amp; 2 tsp of thyme. Season with salt &amp; pepper, &amp; using a potato masher, mash until you have a puree.</li><li>Stir the pureed butternut into the cooked risotto rice, &amp; serve with parmesan.</li></ul></div>

<div><div style="color:inherit;"><ul><li>&nbsp;Heat half of the oil in a ovenproof frying pan over a medium high heat. Season the chicken &amp; brown all over. Set aside.</li><li>Add the rest of the oil &amp; butter to the pan &amp; fry the onion for 5 mins. add garlic &amp; mushrooms &amp; fry for 5 mins more until they are golden.</li><li>Stir flour into the onions &amp; add white wine. Allow to bubble for a min then stir in the mustard &amp; return the chicken to the pan. Pour over the stock &amp; cream, stir in the peas &amp; spinach, allow to wilt then remove from the heat and cool.</li><li>Heat the oven to 210°c/ fan 190°c. Roll out the pastry to fit over the pan. Place over the top of the filling, tucking it in around the edge.</li><li>Brush all over with beaten egg and make a small hole in the centre. Bake for 30 minutes until puffed and golden.</li></ul></div>

Turn off the heat &amp; set aside.</li><li>Whisk the cream, milk, eggs &amp; scraped vanilla seeds together in a bowl.</li><li>Grease an oven proof dish with the extra butter and layer 1/3 of the apples in the bottom of the dish. layer the brioche slices &amp; apple pieces, Keep any caramel left in the pan.</li><li>Pour the custard mix over the brioche and apple &amp; leave to soak for a few minutes.</li><li>Place pudding in the oven &amp; cook for 1 hour until puffed and golden, &amp; the custard has set. Remove from the oven and cool slightly. Heat the remaining caramel gently with the calvados and drizzle over the top of the cooked pudding.</li></ul></div>

Cover with a butter wrapper or greaseproof paper lid &amp; the lid of the saucepan.</li><li>Sweat the vegetables on a very low heat for approx 15 minutes.</li><li>Now add the stock. Replace the lid &amp; simmer for approx 20 minutes.</li><li>Puree the soup in a liquidizer or with a hand held blender.
