Creamed Spinach
Wilted spinach in a garlic and cream sauce
GRAMS PER PORTION:
Serves 2 – 310g
Spinach (54.2%), milk, unsalted butter
(milk), cream (milk), cornflour, garlic,
nutmeg, bay leaf, pepper
*OVEN COOK OR MICROWAVE FROM FROZEN*
OVEN COOKING
Remove sleeve, pierce film.
Preheat oven – place on a baking tray in the top half of the oven and cook from frozen at 160°C or Gas Mark 4 for 35 mins.
MICROWAVE COOKING
Remove sleeve, pierce film
Place on microwaveable plate. Cook on full power (850W).
3 mins > stir well & re-cover > cook for a further 3 min
Allow to rest for 1 minute. Ensure food is piping hot through to the centre before serving.
Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the microwave guidelines but cook for 1 min 30 seconds.
