Sustainable Packaging

At Eatto, we understand how precious the environment around us is. We are actively looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint and have worked hard to incorporate sustainable packaging throughout, we’re also proud of our accreditation with Bord Bia’s Origin Green status!

Besides our passion for bringing you the freshest frozen food, one thing Eatto is especially dedicated to is sustainability. We want to do our part in preserving the environment for future generations to come. That’s why we use sustainable packaging, where a 100% of our packaging is either recyclable or compostable!

Here’s how we made it happen — and how you can do your part by recycling.

Gel packs

These gel packs are made using recyclable plastic material and are 100% safe for food use.

How to dispose

They are ideal for reusing, whether it be to keep shopping chilled in the boot of your car on the way home from the supermarket, whilst camping with your family, or even a picnic!

However, if you want to dispose of it, recycle the plastic from the pack and bin the gel once done.

You can recycle the plastic from these packs, but the gel itself needs to be placed in the general waste bin. Don’t try to pour the gel down the sink, as it could block your drains.
